  3. AVAST: Memory resident scanner
  4. Does not check files when they are copied. Our current technology makes it
  5. possible to test even memory resident scanners, which do not check files when
  6. they are copied. However when analysis started this was not possible.

  8. CENTRAL POINT ANTI-VIRUS: Windows version
  9. Virus Research Unit had no update file for Windows version of Central Point.
  10.  
  11. CENTRAL POINT ANTI-VIRUS: NLM Version
  12. Virus Research Unit has no license of the NLM version.

  14. MICROSOFT ANTI-VIRUS, Windows version
  15. Windows version does not seem to create a log file.

  17. NORTON ANTIVIRUS: NLM version
  18. Could not be tested, because when using workstation version of Norton
  19. Antivirus for Netware to read log file, computer either hanged, caused EMM386
  20. error or DOS prompt appeared. This was tried several times with two different
  21. PC's and with several different settings.

  23. NORMAN DATA DEFENCE SYSTEMS: NVC.SYS behavior blocker
  24. Our current technology makes it possible to analyse even behavior blockers.
  25. However when analysis started this was not possible.

  27. MCAFEE SCAN: Netware version
  28. Could not be loaded even with help of patches available from ftp.mcafee.com
  29. Reason for this may be Virus Research Unit's old version of NLM netware.

  32. Could not be tested because McAfee Association's OS/2 version does not work
  33. with OS/2 version 1.3

  36. Could not be tested, because could not create large enough log file.
  37. However seemed to detect same number of viruses than DOS-version.

  40. Could not be tested because of defective diskette.
